Following a year rich in exchanges and compositions across the globe, the CNM (Centre National de la Musique) international team concluded 2025 with another resounding success: the second “CNM International Songwriting Sessions” in Mexico!

Late November 2025, after a year working on several songwriting sessions (Ghana, Southeast Asia, Korea, France Music Week, Limusic), the CNM international team worked on the second edition of the CNM International Songwriting Sessions: Mexico. Six French songwriters, producers and artists met with talent from Mexico and Colombia, and spent 5 days at Panoram Studios writing a total of 25 new songs, new repertoire for French, Mexican and Colombian artists. The songwriters had been selected from over 200 candidates, and were chosen based on finding a balance between various factors including versatility of working in different genres, a mix of professional teams (from both independent and majors), and a range of session experience.

The week passed with great energy and creativity, with strong new relationships forged between songwriters, and between their professional teams. Several of the songs from the sessions have been optioned for release in 2026, and already some of the French and Mexican songwriters have carried on working on new material together. Take a look at the aftermovie from the sessions to get a taste of the project.
