For the third consecutive year, the CNM is organizing an international songwriting session in France, bringing together songwriters from France, Europe, and around the world.
CNM INTERNATIONAL SONGWRITING SESSIONS
Since 2021, the CNM has organized over 30 international songwriting camps, bringing together more than 350 songwriters from France and abroad, and connecting them with over 300 French and international publishers.
Following the success of the 2023 international seminar at the Artistic Palace, and the 2024 session at Limusic, the CNM is hosting a songwriting camp from Monday, September 22 to Friday, September 26, 2025, where 6 French and 6 international songwriters will gather at the Limusic studios in Limoux. They will spend five days creating new songs and collaborations, with the goal of generating commercial releases in the months following and establishing long-term international partnerships.
Participants will work in broad genres such as international pop, rap, and indie, with influences ranging from mainstream pop, hyper-pop, and electronic to singer-songwriter styles and beyond.
A listening session will be held at the studios on Friday, September 26, in the presence of a professional team member for each songwriter. This event aims to foster connections between French and international industry professionals.
Format
Arrival:
- Songwriters arrive at the Limusic studios on Sunday, September 21 for a welcome dinner with all camp participants. Accommodation is provided on-site in private rooms at the studio estate.
Writing Schedule:
- From Monday, September 22, the 12 participants will be divided into 4 groups of 3 songwriters. Each group will aim to write one song per day.
- The following morning, an informal listening session will take place to review the previous day’s songs. New groups will then be formed, and this cycle will continue throughout the camp.
Industry networking:
- On Thursday, September 25, French and international professionals (publishers, labels, or management) will arrive in Limoux for networking sessions.
- On Friday, September 26, a final listening session at 6:00 PM will be held.
- Departure: Participants and their professional team members may leave starting Saturday, September 27.
Participation Conditions
Covered by CNM:
- Studio rental
- Transfers from Toulouse or Carcassonne airports, or Carcassonne train station
- On-site accommodation
- Full board during the project
Not Covered:
- Travel to and from Limusic studios (prior to airport/train station transfers)
Important Requirement:
- A key part of the program is the networking session on Thursday, September 25, and the final listening session on Friday, September 26.
- Only applicants who can guarantee the presence of a professional team member on both of these days will be considered.
- Limusic and CNM will cover two nights of accommodation in Limoux (September 25–27) for one professional from each participant’s team, along with transfers from the airport/train station.
